Notes: In the middle of the Pisa range, between Wanaka and Queenstown is the Waiorau Snow Farm and Proving Ground. The range has a large and relatively flat plateau between about 1400m and 2000m which includes a small snow park for surfers, a big cross country skiing track, and most surprisingly, a tyre and rally car proving ground.
