Notes: We watch the second tandem take off perfectly. It requires a fair amount of running, which isn't easy on snow. The risk is that either the pilot or passenger will slip and drag the other down. This can happen (I know) and we even passed two absolutely knackered looking guys returning to the telepherique with a paraglider sack. They said they had tried five times to take off, without success, and had given up. I'm actually slight nervous about the take off.
