Page: 37/40 [prev] [index] [next] - Tete de l'Ane and Desert de Plate beyond

Notes: The next day I flew from Plan Praz, on the north side of the Chamonix valley. The thermals were reasonable, but cloud base was lower at about 3200m. It also become very turbulent so I was only able to take a few photos after my first climb above Brevant. This one is looking north west towards the Desert de Plate. The highest point in the ridge is the Tete de l'Ane (2801m).
