Notes: Looking down from the Aiguille du Moine there is the merging of the glacier de Leschaux and the glacier du Tacul which become the Mer de Glace. You can see a red paraglider next to the Tete du Courverole (2735m) and a high performance sailplane which zoomed around for a while without finding any thermals big enough for it to use.
